When you run a promotion, Shopify has no safeguard to stop your B2B and trade customers from getting the sale stacked on top of their existing discount. Metra's Trade Lock keeps your trade catalog fixed at your trade discount off original retail, wherever the sale is set: a scheduled promo, a manual edit, or an external feed like Matrixify or an ERP. Regular shoppers see the sale. Trade customers keep their agreed price. Metra schedules and reverts every promotion for you too.
